So one number editorial conference later, we are all grumpy and nursing elephantine colds. People who work together should never have to socialise. Even when people who work together are nice.

In other news SP was here (and around her this always happens) and I've cut my hair. Can't even remember what waist-length hair is like now. It looks pretty nice but through out the cut I kept reminding her of the time she decided to cut my hair with her two hands.

There I'm sitting in someone else's living room with SP cutting my hair. The man of the house came in and nearly keeled over, his fall to the ground being softened by the maid. Ten minutes later a man walks in (he was dropping his kid off for a play date.) His first response to the sight of two strange girls sitting in a pile of newspapers and hair was, "Ummmm.... I think the angle is wrong." he grabs the scissors and starts fixing the 'angle'. Turns out he was a moderately well-known painter-sculptor and was pained by SP's erring eye.

Ha ha. I can imagine a friend cutting one's hair. But in someone else's living room? Did the painter manage to give your haircut the right lines?
